Hot vs Cold Forging

Choose the right forging process for your parts

Hot Forging

Heating metal above recrystallization temp. Suitable for complex shapes and large parts. Better ductility but lower dimensional accuracy.

Cold Forging

Room temperature forming. Higher strength, better surface finish, tighter tolerances. Limited to simpler shapes.
