Guzhen (古镇) is the world capital of lighting. The town produces LED lights, decorative chandeliers, ceiling lights, track lighting, street lights, and commercial/industrial lighting fixtures. The supply chain is complete — from LED chip sourcing to driver ICs, aluminum extrusion housings, glass shades, and assembly. The annual Guzhen Lighting Expo draws 100,000+ buyers globally. Zhongshan is a powerhouse for small home appliances, particularly in the Huangpu and Nantou areas. Factories produce air fryers, induction cooktops, rice cookers, slow cookers, electric kettles, fans, vacuum cleaners, and coffee machines. Many top OEM/ODM manufacturers operate from Zhongshan, serving global brands like Philips, Panasonic, and Xiaomi. UL, CE, GS, and other international certifications are standard.
Zhongshan's furniture industry, centered in Dajiang (大涌) and Sanxiang (三乡) towns, produces a wide range of wooden, metal, and upholstered furniture. The city is known for modern/contemporary designs at competitive prices, serving both residential and commercial/office segments. As the PRD furniture supply chain matures, Zhongshan has carved out a niche for mid-to-high-end pieces with reliable quality.
Xiaolan (小榄) town in Zhongshan is a leading hardware manufacturing hub, producing locks, hinges, handles, bathroom fittings, and precision metal parts. The area has a deep precision stamping, CNC machining, and surface treatment supply chain supporting both the lighting and appliance industries.
Zhongshan is equidistant from five airports: Guangzhou Baiyun (CAN, ~1.5h), Shenzhen Bao'an (SZX, ~1.5h via Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge), Zhuhai (ZUH, ~1h), and Macau/Hong Kong airports (2-3h).

Nansha Port (Guangzhou) — 40 minutes. Yantian and Shekou ports (Shenzhen) — 1-1.5 hours via the new Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge opened in 2024. Excellent multi-port access.
Zhongshan is at the intersection of the G4W (Guangzhou-Macau) and G94 (Pearl River Delta Ring) expressways. Exceptional road connectivity to all PRD cities.
