Mold Storage Procedures

• Clean all surfaces thoroughly after each run
• Apply rust preventive spray to all steel surfaces
• Close mold with 50% clamping force
• Store in humidity-controlled environment (RH < 50%)
• Keep mold upright on storage rack

Before Next Run

• Remove rust preventive with solvent
• Inspect cavity for damage or corrosion
• Test water flow through all cooling circuits
• Clean and lubricate guide pins and bushings
• Verify heater and thermocouple function
