Product Specifications

A specification is only useful if it names the standard behind it. An M8 bolt is not a product; an M8 bolt to GB/T 5782, property class 8.8, hot-dip galvanised, is. This section lists specifications together with the standard, the available grades, materials and finishes, so that a requirement can be written precisely and quoted precisely.

What this covers

Fasteners

Bolts, nuts, screws, washers, studs and pins by size and grade.

Materials

Steels, stainless grades, brass and aluminium with properties.

Properties

Density, tensile strength, hardness and typical applications.

Cross-reference

Link each specification to the standard it follows.

How to use it

Start from the product family, then narrow by size, property class or material. Each entry shows which standards cover it and which destination standards correspond, so the same page serves both the engineer writing a requirement and the buyer checking it against an import specification.

Property values are compiled from published standards and material datasheets. For design-critical use, confirm against the current edition of the standard and against the supplier's own test certificates.
